sound blaster live ct4760 drivers windows 7 zip
7) This is a driver package only. I think some of the drivers are newer than the software in link number 1, but as those can be easily upgraded, I wouldn't bother with this package, because if you use the software in link number 1, you can select the "Drivers only install" option anyway. If you can't download this file from DriverGuide for whatever reason, just google for LiveWare 3.0 or liveware3.0.zip, and you'll surely find it.
1) the manual talk about MPC to MPC, so i must look for a cable with the same ends?2) there is a 2 pin and a 4 pin connector, what's the difference? One analog and one digital?3) i saw soundblaster to cd rom cables, are these good for me? I don't think so as it seems not to be the good end on the sound card side
Years Ago I bought a SB live! Gamer or Player? new in the shop. But somehow I could not install it with drivers including "SB16 Emulation" in Windows 98. Only plain drivers worked. I returned the card. It is a long time ago, but I remember trying everything, and concluding that the card was a crippled intentionally.
don't feel bad.... the SB Live! had such shitty drivers compared to the ISA sound blasters... my friend was an early PCI sound card adopter... he had so much trouble making his SB Live working properly... I now have his card and the drivers discs... I already sent the disc 1 (all you really need actually) to wolverinedk... not sure if he has uploaded it yetthe CT4830 has an optional I/O bracket for toslink in/out.. it didn't come with it unless you got the "gold" version... not needed to make the card work either way
The Live! 5.1 is based on the EMU-10K chip. This one, SB0100, is *not* the Dell OEM version of CT4830 (the SB0200 and SB0220) which is an inferior card with an EMU-10K1X which had a software-based DSP instead of a hardware one. Phil from Phil's Computer Lab rates the SB0100 highly, considering it his "go-to" sound card for Windows 98, not as good as the Audigy2 ZS, but easier to install the drivers.
